About Confiday
-
Introducing Confiday, a mentoring program designed to help college freshmen girls navigate their first year of college life successfully.
The story of Confiday begins with our founder, Julie Walther-Scheibel, who saw a need for a program that offered more than just academic support for college freshmen girls. After years of working as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Julie recognized that many girls struggle with the transition from high school to college and the pressures that come with it. She wanted to create a program that would provide both practical and emotional guidance to help these girls navigate their first year of college.
With this vision in mind, Julie founded Confiday in 2022. She recruited a team of stand-out mentors who were also graduates of the same universities as our program participants.

These mentors go through extensive training to ensure they are equipped to provide effective support to our students.
Confiday is available to students at several universities across the country. Our program offers monthly sessions covering timely topics and weekly check-ins with mentors to provide ongoing support.
At Confiday, we are committed to empowering young women to succeed in all aspects of their college experience. We believe that every student deserves a supportive community and the tools they need to thrive, and we are proud to be that community for college freshmen girls. Thank you for considering Confiday as a resource for your college journey.

Do I really need a Confiday Mentor?
Yes...any girl will benefit from having a trained and dedicated Confiday Mentor by their side. Success or failure in life is determined by the choices you make. Freshman year puts girls face-to-face with many unfamiliar situations and challenges. Confiday Mentors help girls make good decisions and help them get back on track quickly when life gets a little messy.
Is having a friend or family member help just as effective as engaging a Confiday Mentor?
While a friend or family member who has graduated from her college may provide some good advice, it is not the same as having a Confiday Mentor. Confiday Mentors are trained in a unique and innovative program designed by a professional to help college freshmen navigate the challenges they may face.
Confiday Mentors provide timely advice and support tailored to each individual's unique situation, as well as weekly check-ins to ensure progress is being made. While friends or family members may mean well, they do not have the same level of focus or training to provide the comprehensive support and guidance that a Confiday Mentor can offer.
Is Confiday intended only for students who may require the services of a therapist or additional assistance?
No. The Confiday Mentor Program is designed for all freshman girls. In fact, Confiday is expressly not intended to replace professional help for freshmen who require therapy or clinical counseling. Rather, it focuses on providing timely advice, guidance, and support on common challenges that any freshmen girl may face during their first year of college.
Is a Confiday College Life Mentor a good value?
We realize Confiday is not a small purchase. However, Confiday is an amazing investment in your daughter's success.
When paying for college, you pay for academic courses, facilities, professors and living expenses. None of which focus on the tools and life lessons needed to become a successful college student. That is where Confiday shines! Confiday is like having Google Maps for college life.
The average cost of college in the United States is $35,551 per student per year.* That equates to $142, 204 for four years. A relatively small investment in a Confiday Mentor helps you get the most out your investment in college. Confiday will pay dividends throughout the college experience and beyond.
